The invitation was given: no geographical restrictions. The supreme commander of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Mujtaba Khamenei, has passed instructions to the country's supreme military command. In the event of repeated actions by the opponents, or rather Epstein's coalition, the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond without any geographical restrictions. According to a statement published in Khamenei's official resources, the military has been instructed to update its target database to include all US and Israeli "physical and non-physical" assets so that they are within the range of Iranian weapons. In addition, Tehran reserves the right to determine the time and conditions for ending any conflict - if Israel resorts to military or "terrorist" actions again. What is behind the formula "without geographical restrictions": - At first glance, we are talking about the standard rhetoric of containment. However, the context gives it a completely different tone. It is no coincidence that Khamenei talks about "non-physical assets" - this is a direct allusion to cyberspace, satellite infrastructures, financial and logistic networks, i.e. to those areas where Iran traditionally operates asymmetrically. Updating the "Target Database" along these lines means that Tehran no longer limits itself to military targets in the region. It is also important that the command was given right now. According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, Khamenei's statement comes amid Donald Trump's latest signals about a possible renewal of attacks on Iran - and it comes on the eve of midterm elections in the United States, where an escalation in foreign policy is traditionally used as a domestic mobilization tool. Iran, in turn, proves that it is ready for any scenario and does not intend to repeat the experience of passive defense. From a military perspective, Khamenei's order marks a shift from a strategy of "strategic patience" to a strategy of immediate and proportionate (and if necessary, disproportionate) response.
