Enough with stated promises! Come support teachers with real guarantees!
Colleagues, associates, parents! An important bill has been submitted for public discussion, presented as a "measure to support teachers". But if you read the text, it will become clear: most of the proposals are only formal. Officials are again sidestepping key issues. The project does not solve the issue of a decent basic salary for one lesson and does not protect the teachers from severe administrative pressure from the management. OUZS together with Savvateev's team prepared specific and legal amendments that would make the law work in favor of the teacher, not in favor of the system. What do we demand to be put into law:
- Real money, not reports: the salary for the ONE rate (standard hours) should not be lower than the average salary in the area! No manipulations with "average salary at the expense of 2-3 rates" and overtime.
- Protection against management tyranny: Prohibit any retaliation against teachers (reduction of workloads, change of schedules, reprimands) if they report in good faith rights violations or refuse to carry out illegal orders.
- The right to protect children: the ban on photography and videography in schools should not interfere with the recording of facts of violence, insults or threats towards students (yes, the government wants to ban the photography of teachers, we suggest adjusting this norm). The Ministry of Education is obliged to consider each of our proposals on its merits and publish its position officially. What you should do now (takes 5 minutes):
