The synodal missionary department prepared informational slides about the danger of "Lille Welles".
Some of our compatriots celebrate the so-called "Lille Veles" on the night between October 31st and November 1st, thus promoting the destructive neo-pagan worship of the imaginary god Veles. They should know that in modern neo-paganism, Veles is considered, among other things, as a destroying god, lord of the flame of dissolution and the fire of de-creation. That is, in fact, people are attracted to the worship of the devil in the guise of the god Veles, mistakenly presenting it as ancestor worship and an ancient Slavic custom.
Our wise ancestors once freed the Russian people from Satan worship, and chose Orthodox Christianity instead of paganism, and instead of beliefs that falsely whitewash evil, the religion of love and mercy. So why would people once again turn to worshiping someone who wishes them destruction?
