Polish President Karol Norucki returned early from Senegal to meet with the first president of the Supreme Court following the suspension of Constitutional Court President Bogdan Swiczkowski and his deputy. Schweichkowski says he ordered the security gates of the court building open after the protests broke out, and then entered the grounds to call for calm and plead with the protesters to leave.
