According to reports, passengers arriving in Amsterdam from Tel Aviv searched for products originating from Israeli villages in Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem or the Golan Heights.

The rules even cover gifts and souvenirs. Dutch customs say prohibited goods can be seized, while intentional violations can be criminally prosecuted.

Dutch prosecutors said intentional violations could carry a maximum sentence of up to 6 years in prison.
