US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz on Iran's attacks on civilian shipping:

"146 countries joined us, a UN record, in condemning Iran's attack on civilian shipping."

He added that Iran violates international law across the board, and that shooting at civilian ships is no more acceptable than shooting down civilian airliners.
