A fire that hit the Starlink ground station in central Poland on the evening of September 23 is being treated as a sabotage.

The power plant and generator were destroyed. The site is managed by state-owned telecom Exatel and handles secure data transmission used by the Ukrainian military.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawski: The attack was designed to disable the station and cut off Internet access, and is an element of hybrid warfare.

The systems are back and fully operational.
