The spokesman of the Saudi army, General Turki al-Malki:

Saudi air defense intercepted and destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile that was launched towards Riyadh before dawn. Additional attempts on civilians and civilian sites in Bish, Taif, Farsan and Yanbu were all thwarted.

Al-Malki called the Houthi escalation deliberate and systematic terrorist behavior, and said that the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen maintains the natural right to act as it sees fit to deter them.
