Europe still lacks sufficient air defense, counter-UAVs and ballistic missiles for a potential Russian attack, and expansion of systems like the Patriot is painfully slow. Ukraine, on the other hand, is developing at "lightning speed" with the production of drones close to 200,000 units per month.
