Reuters report: US officials met secretly on Sunday with representatives of the Houthis in Oman. The group has promised not to attack US ships and said it remains committed to a ceasefire agreement signed last year.
One Yemeni source said the Houthis also stated they would not attack Israeli ships or merchant shipping. Saudi-owned ships were the exception.
