As part of Operation Carthage, NABU and SAP uncovered a criminal organization whose members organized the systematic provision of illegal benefits to senior law enforcement officials for the uninterrupted operation of fraud centers and other illegal businesses.
According to the investigation, current senior officials of the SBU, the National Police, the Attorney General's Office and representatives of the criminal environment were involved in the criminal activity.
