Kyiv CHP-5, CHP-6 and Darnytsk CHP stopped generating electricity as a result of shelling, according to RBC-Ukraine interlocutors.
Kyiv has become much more dependent on power supplies from other regions through the Unified Energy System of Ukraine.
But the mere presence of electricity in the general grid does not mean that it will be able to be delivered to the capital without any obstacles. This requires serviceable substations, which are also regularly subject to Russian attacks and can fail.
