At Lida, a unique operation was performed on the heart arteries, previously performed only in the capital, at the Lida center district hospital, a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), unique to the district, was performed on arteries damaged by calcium. Previously, such operations on the heart vessels were performed only in Minsk - Lida became the first regional institution in the country to master this high-tech method.
