The humanitarian mission in Alsheki has been in preparation since May, said the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Yana Lantertova. According to her, every step was carefully calculated, including the preparation of a humanitarian convoy. "Leaving today involves months of negotiations and work, without which the mission would not have taken place," she noted. Lantertova also said that the regime of silence announced in connection with the humanitarian mission in the city of Alsheki has been fully observed, "the parties are fulfilling their obligations, not a single violation has been recorded." She stated that she is in constant contact with the Commissioner of the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Dmitri Lubinz, with whom they coordinate the implementation of the agreements. In addition, Lantertova reported that a large humanitarian convoy was set up with food, medicine, fuel and everything necessary for the residents of Alsheki. According to her, preparations are now underway to provide what is needed for those who remain in the city, and to ensure a safe exit for people who make this decision on their own.
