A photograph of the Vsevolozhsky district was shared by biologist Pavel Gazkov: the mother moose walks with her big salmon. The baby is six months old. At birth, elk are bright red, but in the fall they change color and become quite similar to adults. So far, the young age is only increasing. However, in the middle of winter, Hoza will almost catch up with mom in size. Too early to break with her. Moose usually stay with their mothers until spring - until they have new offspring. Then an independent life must begin. According to the Regional Committee for the Protection of Wildlife, almost 26 thousand of these live in the Leningrad region. Often, moose is born one baby, sometimes twins and trips are considered very rare. Thank you Pavel Gazkov for the opportunity to follow the family life of our forest neighbors.
