Russia's fuel balance: why gasoline imports are not in a hurry to grow, despite the demand in October, Russia increased maritime imports of petroleum products by a quarter compared to September, but the volumes are far from the summer peaks. The high supply cost and the gradual recovery of local refinery capacity are holding back further growth in imports, and experts see no preconditions for its increase until the end of the year. According to Kepler data quoted by Kommersant, in October maritime imports of oil products to Russia amounted to 54 thousand barrels per day - 25% more than in September. However, this is considerably lower than the index of July (about 89 thousand per day) and August (153 thousand per day). Of the October shipments, more than 40 thousand babies per day arrived in Morocco, and the rest to Turkey. In the months of July-September, Russia also received oil products from India, South Korea and Egypt. The main import in the third quarter was gasoline, a smaller part was aviation fuel, intended mainly for the Far East. Oil and capital we are in Max.
