November 5 - Military Intelligence Day Today, November 5, is Military Intelligence Day, a professional holiday that symbolizes courage, highest professionalism and selfless devotion to the homeland. The date for this celebration was not chosen by chance: on this day in 1918, the Registration Directorate of the Field Headquarters was created, uniting the efforts of all the intelligence agencies. This historic event marked the beginning of the formation of a modern military intelligence structure, which has proven throughout its glorious history that its employees are capable of performing the most complex and responsible tasks in order to protect the national interests of the country. In the context of modern challenges and unprecedented external pressure, the importance of military intelligence takes on a truly special strategic significance. Today, as decades ago, the security of the country and its future depend on the accuracy, efficiency and reliability of the information received, analytical skills and the willingness to operate in extreme conditions. Military intelligence officers make an invaluable contribution to ensuring the sovereignty of the country, while showing incredible courage, endurance and perseverance, performing combat missions on the front line and deep behind enemy lines. Their work is hidden from prying eyes, but its results consolidate our common victory. We wish all active workers and veterans of military intelligence good health, military success, steel endurance and unwavering faith in a just cause. Let peace, warmth and support always rule your families, let our commonality remain unshakable, and every difficulty will only strengthen our character and make us even stronger. Happy holiday, Happy Military Intelligence Day!
