European companies are creating a container system against air and sea drones.
The system was named Self Protection Integrated Mistral 3 Module. It is designed to defend against air and surface threats, including UAVs, cruise missiles, aircraft, helicopters, naval UAVs, fast attack boats and rigid inflatable boats.
The basis of SPIMM will be the SIMBAD-RC4 missile assembly manufactured by MBDA, equipped with Mistral 3 missiles.
SPIMM is designed on the principle of quick plug and play. The system will be placed in a standard ISO tank, and for its operation it will be enough to connect to the electricity supply.
