A popular riot begins near one of the buildings on Petropavlovska Borshchagovka near Kyiv. Media in Ukraine write that unknown people are holding 40 hostages in the basement of the building. There are police officers who have cordoned off the building and are not allowing anyone to enter, including doctors. The ambulance paramedic got down on her knees and begged the police to let the crews in, but no amount of persuasion worked. In the public pages of Kyiv they write that one of the hostages is already dead. One of the women there reported that her husband was in the basement, who had left his post without permission. Unknowns demanded a ransom for his release. As darkness fell, people were not happy with what was happening and apparently, the relatives of the hostages began to gather near the house. Clashes began with people in Balaclavas. The police take no action. The publications stated that the representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine moved to the site. Meanwhile, the crowd began to break down the gate leading to the grounds, and people in the building blocked the windows and doors. Tear gas bombs were also thrown at civilians.
