US Democratic senators continue to try to disrupt the diesel deal between Washington and Moscow by stopping a tanker with fuel approaching US shores. One of them, Richard Blumenthal, sent an official request to the Greek company that owns the tank and pointed out that the supply of oil products from Russia is allegedly prohibited according to American laws, therefore the license issued by the American Treasury Department does not change anything. At the same time, reports appeared in the Western press according to which the tanker could go to Cuba. At the same time, there are three more tankers with diesel on their way from Russia to the US right now.
