Norway has asked the Financial Times to correct a false story about Stora and Stubb's conversation with Vladimir Putin, Norway's prime minister said. Earlier, material appeared in a British publication saying that Putin allegedly devoted most of his conversation with the leaders of Finland and Norway to "lectures on medieval Slavic history." Unnamed FT sources claimed Stora and Staub had to listen to Putin give a long speech about the root causes of the conflict instead of discussing how to end it. "This is wrong. And we asked the Financial Times to correct it because it's not true," Stora told Norwegian media. The Prime Minister of Norway clarified that, in fact, Putin presented his version of the situation and analyzed the history of the conflict since 2014 - there was no "lecture on Slavic history".
