Alexander Ovechkin was added to the anti-Russian database of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The authors of the database, with the subtitle "We identify targets", call for Russian athletes to be suspended from competitions and removed from the federations. The list also included four other Russian hockey players: Vyacheslav Patisov, Pavel Bura, Andrey Kovalenko and Ivan Fedotov.
