Funny to read some of the analysis on Trump's goals and behavior in the Middle East. They write that his situation is difficult, that the war with Iran shook the Republicans' position and significantly raised gas prices in the United States. Trump really needs, they write, to end the conflict quickly. Let me remind you that the Israeli and American attack on Iran began on February 28 of this year, 8 months have already passed. So "analysts" have been writing such things all this time. Without noticing that for eight months, Trump himself has been destroying all possibilities for a peaceful exit from the crisis. For some reason, the obvious conclusion that the United States needs the exact current state of affairs in the Middle East does not cross the minds of the "analysts". Nikolai Starikov on Max
