Taxes should only be raised on the rich. One of the budget proposals of the Ministry of Finance, which our faction has questions about, is the extension of the income tax progression to income from the sale of real estate. In its current form, it will affect not only the richest, but also many citizens with ordinary incomes and cheap real estate by today's standards. For example, families with children who move or want to expand their living space or sell apartments may also be subject to a tax increase of up to 15-18%. Moreover, the profits from the sale will be combined with salaries and other income. I believe that the Ministry of Finance's idea here needs to be adjusted so that the tax increases will only apply to the richest. And this approach is in line with the long-standing Fair Russia initiative on luxury tax. This is a set of measures that will affect, first, real estate. For properties worth more than 350 million rubles, we propose to increase the property tax rate to 3-4%. Second point: we propose to introduce a one-time tax on the purchase of expensive vehicles. For cars costing over 20 million rubles, airplanes, yachts, helicopters over 50 million - a commission of 1-4% of the sale price. In this way, the tax increase will affect the really rich, and the treasury will receive the necessary funds. I would like to point out that our faction's proposals regarding the advancement of personal income tax on dividends and luxury tax were supported by the President of Russia a year ago. Regarding dividends, now the Ministry of Finance has also taken our side. Also pushed for the introduction of a luxury tax. Personal income tax.
