Japan's foreign minister says he is coordinating Takaichi Sana's attendance at APEC meeting Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Mutagi said Japan is coordinating Prime Minister Sana Takaichi's attendance at APEC meeting in Shenzhen next month. Motogi Toshimitsu attended a meeting of the Japanese Senate's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday and said that Japan is arranging for Takaichi to attend the APEC meeting. As for whether he will use this meeting to organize a dialogue with President Xi Jinping, Mutagi Toshimitsu said it is still under discussion and it is not convenient to say which countries he will hold talks with at this stage. Mutagi Toshimitsu also pointed out that the history of the formation of the four political documents between the two countries, including the Japan-China Joint Declaration, should be taken seriously. He also noted that China is an important neighbor and hopes to build constructive and stable relations through communication.
