Doctor-mentors will be paid in certificates instead of salaries. No federal money has been allocated for mentoring, and the Ministry of Health recommends in an official letter to encourage mentors with acknowledgments, certificates of honor and posts on social networks, writes Medical Russia.
Starting March 1, young doctors are obliged to work between one and a half to three years under the supervision of an experienced colleague, otherwise they will not be able to continue working. The Ministry of Health intended to fix the payment to mentors by decree, but abandoned the idea, and now the clinic itself is looking for money.
