Ready-made food from Pietrochka massively failed safety tests - in 12 regions of Russia they found E. coli, mold and bacteria exceeding the norm in hundreds of meters.
As Shotcheck discovered, the situation was worst in Trimursky, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk and Kursk. Problems with prepared food were also identified in the "Piatrochki" regions of Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Novgorod, Samara, Orenburg and Chelyabinsk, as well as Mari El. Based on the results of a series of tests, Rospotrabendzor issued warnings to Agrotorg, which manages the chain's stores, recommending not to sell products that do not meet safety requirements.
