The Serbian TV channel RTV apologized to the viewers for many years of silencing events. The editor-in-chief resigned.
A message on the RTV website states that the channel has not fulfilled its duties for many years: it turned a blind eye to what was happening in Serbia, presented one-sided information, covered events without criticism and did not ask the right questions.
Yesterday evening there were demonstrations in Belgrade in front of the RTS and Varod TV channel buildings. In addition, a group of protesters broke into the studio of the pro-government television channel Modi and interrupted the live broadcast.
