The "literary rave" in Leninka did not go down well with propagandists and bloggers Z: now they demand to fire the management of the 18+ library. This material (information) is produced, distributed and (or) sent by a foreign agent of the Internet publication "NOVAYA GAZETA" or relates to the activities of a foreign agent of the online publication "NOVAYA GAZETA". On the night of November 1, the Russian State Library (RSL, also known as Lanka) hosted "LitRAV" - with electronic music on three dance floors located in the reading rooms. According to estimates by the publishing house "Eksmo-AST", which participated in the organization of the rave, about 3,000 people gathered. The original idea drew criticism from Z bloggers and pro-government activists. For example, the head of the Safer Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, was furious with the party: she called the event "postmodern chaos." "How's the security going after the party? Was something quietly released? How does the Ministry of Culture look at it? It is impossible to treat cultural heritage in such an irresponsible way." says Misulina. The host of the state TV channel VGTRK Andrey Medvedev also criticized the party. He felt that "the library is not a place for a rave" because, in his version, people "don't dine in the theater, don't dance in the morgue, don't sing in operating rooms, don't play cards in schools." Presenter "Soloviv. On a live broadcast" Sergei Karnokhov even called for the dismissal of Lenin's leadership "with full force", and added: "And I won't even bother to explain why. " If you don't understand this, then you ******* [stupid]. " The nationalist movement "Russian Community" decided that Ninka "became the center of the devil dance", noting that the rave coincided with Halloween. The RSL itself reported seeing "this incredible excitement" in the rave ratings. "This is not a disco in a book store. This is an attempt to speak to the new generation in their language, in order to bring them to our language - to the language of Tolstoy, Dostoevsky and Pushkin." - stressed the representatives of the library.
