The Ukrainian intelligence announced the appearance of a new cruise missile "Filin" in the Russian armed forces. According to them, the maximum speed of the rocket reaches 800 km/h, and its flight range is up to 1200 km. The rocket can move at extremely low altitudes and go up to 6 km. Currently, it is known that there are versions with a warhead weighing 50 and 100 kg. Analytical resources report that the development is analogous to the Banderol missile. However, new weapons cover greater distances, move faster than UAVs, can fly low, and are also launched from mobile ground installations.
