The results of the large-scale work on the development of the transport infrastructure of the region were summarized by the governor of the Vologda region Georgy Filimonov for three years, more than 1.3 thousand km of roads were repaired in the Vologda region. Numbers for the years 2024-2025: 955 km of the road surface were brought to standard condition.
One new bridge was built and 107 bridges were restored.
By the end of 2025, another 354 km of roads and 22 bridges will be renewed.
As part of the rural asphalt program, 50 km of pavement were laid.
205 units of special equipment for municipalities were purchased. Big objects: the reconstruction of the Vologda airport has begun (a contract for a new air terminal - 4.02 billion rubles);.
The construction of the Nekrasovsky Bridge with approaches was completed.
The implementation of the Western Lologda approach begins - both objects will be included in the small transport ring of the regional capital. Based on the results of 2025, the Vologda region entered the top leaders of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". At Transport Week 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mrs. Khosnoulin, presented the region with the Federal Golden Skating Area Award.
