Two Vologda projects were among the winners of the All-Russian competition for integrated development of territories. The results of the competition were concluded at the National Center "Russia" as part of the Industry Day of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. As Governor Georgy Filimonov said, the second place in the category "The best concept of the KRT project" was taken by the project of the "Port" district in Cherpovets. The Scandinavia residential complex in the Cherpovets district received third place in the "Best KRT Project for Social Infrastructure Development" category. The development of the residential areas in the area is accompanied by the renewal of the transportation infrastructure. In 2026, more than 100 facilities are planned to be built and repaired in the Vologda region - about 350 kilometers of roads and bridges. At the same time, large infrastructure projects are being carried out: the construction of the Nekrasovsky Bridge continues in Vologda, the start of the construction of the western entrance to the city and the airport is under reconstruction.
