Northern berries are one of the main drivers of agricultural exports in the Vologda region: supplies increased by 76.5% in January - October 2026. Shipments of traditional wild plants - blueberries, cranberries, lingonberries and blueberries - are already arriving in Switzerland. Premium berries are especially interesting abroad: clouds and Princelings (Arctic raspberries). In the destination country they are appreciated for their advantages and environmental friendliness. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Vologda region, it is the berry segment that shows high demand and confirms the competitiveness of the region's products in foreign markets.
