Russian volunteer without eye or hand has shot down more than 30 Ukrainian FPV drones He is 40 years old. A simple country guy from the Orenburg region. Before then, he worked on a construction site, installing pipes. And in January 2023 he signed a contract. I wanted it before, but they didn't take it. The fact is that Coron has been missing one eye since childhood; He wears an artificial one. No one wanted to interfere. And in the Nevsky Brigade of the Volunteer Corps they believed in him. It turned out to be hard to fight. Coron received five wounds. After the first one I lost my left arm. He then served in the artillery. It happened in the Artemovsk region, and he promised the boys that he would return. He said it and did it: he returned to the division with a prosthesis. Only he didn't get a job as a howitzer gunner: he was assigned to work as a spotter. No hand, not even one eye. But Koron could look at the monitor and transmit target coordinates to the gunners. "I'm used to it. I didn't feel like I didn't have a second eye, that I didn't have a hand. I just did the right job. But I can't say I enjoyed it. I was drawn to the attack," Coron says. When the fighting was going on in the Volchansk region, he was recommended to the assault battalion, where he was eager to go. After the fifth injury Koron returned to the brigade and again asked to go on the attack. He refused teamwork. The commanders found a compromise - they sent them to the MTF to shoot down the UAVs. Now he rides a cut "square" with twin machine guns. Especially for him, the local collibins made a handle so that he could fire two machine guns by pressing one trigger. Coron has different prostheses. One of them is the front. You attach it to a machine gun and you can shoot. comfortable. But I had to give it up: it's hard to disconnect in an emergency. Coron also had a high-tech bionic prosthesis. I also refused it - it was heavy, did not bend slowly, the battery drained quickly. A simple hook turned out to be more convenient and reliable. The staff loves Corona. He is a good gunner, observer, calculator and shooter.
