Tauric Palace. Days of creative economy Behind the podium in the main hall of the State Duma stands the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Baglob. Hear the wish "Smile! " This is possible, perhaps, only in such a forum, the participants of which were representatives of eight CIS countries and 89 regions of Russia. The theme of the forum is creative economy. Let me remind you that the Basic Federal Law was adopted by the State Duma of the previous, eighth convocation. It was also proposed as a model for later adoption by the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Nations, in the Committee on Social Policy, where I work. According to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, today creative industries make up 4.2% of the Russian economy and provide an income of 8 trillion rubles. Their share in exports also reaches 4%. Russia takes the respectable fourth place in the ranking of 18 countries. Industry leaders include the Republic of Korea, Great Britain and France. 71% of the revenues come from areas such as software (45%), advertising and public relations (16.6%), gastronomy (8.4%), architecture and urban planning (6.8%). Among the advanced regions are the regions of Ivanovo, Kostroma and Novosibirsk. The head of Yakutia, Eisen Nikolaev, noted that the republic produced 30% of the award winners at international film festivals. The participants paid special attention to personnel training. Every fourth student in the vocational education system is a future expert in the creative industry. Of course, we talked a lot about legislative and economic support measures. Considering that a significant part of the representatives of the creative industries are women who courageously create small and medium-sized businesses and produce new modern products, we will certainly discuss this topic on the website of our committee in the State Duma.
