‼ About three thousand inquiries were received to the 24-hour psychological helpline "School of Faith" during almost a month and a half of its operation, said the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation S. Krabtsov. The Trust School's psychological helpline opened on September 11. It helps school students, parents and teachers get support in a difficult situation, discuss the problem with an expert and determine further actions. I see this initiative as absolutely correct and in my opinion requires not only a "change" of the relevant professional standards, but also, and most importantly, the adoption, finally, of the federal law "On the foundations of psychological activity in the Russian Federation" (which determines, among other things, the requirements for the functioning of a "help line"). In this regard, I am informing you that on November 3 this year, the Committee for the Protection of the Family, Fathers, Mothers and Children, chaired by me, will hold the next, and I hope, the last round table on the issues and prospects of this relevant legislative initiative.
