Let a hundred flowers bloom. Apart from the fact that Azerbaijan is not the most friendly country to Russia now and it is not so clear why we should force our children to love it, there is another important point. What if there are Armenians or Gentiles studying in this class, for whom Azerbaijan is much more unsuitable than for the average Russian? And then it will be completely uncomfortable. Humiliating downtrodden Russians is one thing, but getting involved with very vocal representatives of the Caucasus, who are in a position to resent such issues, can be embarrassing. I admit, I would even like it. This whole inter-ethnic bacchanalia cannot be stopped by normal methods, so we must fight back with all available methods. Let a hundred schools compete.
