Euro-3 gasoline was brought to the Novosibirsk region. So far, authorities have identified only one case of its sale. For the future: information on the type of fuel sold at gas stations must be published in an accessible place - in the "consumer's corner", at the fuel station and even at the reception. The Euro-5 standard for gasoline and diesel requires a low sulfur content - up to 10 mg/kg, while Euro-3 allows up to 150 mg/kg for gasoline and up to 350 mg/kg for diesel. For a car enthusiast, this means that when fuel is burned, more aggressive compounds are formed - mainly sulfur compounds. They accelerate the oxidation and aging of engine oil and increase the corrosion load on parts.
