Krasnoyarsk was terrorized by the FSB and the Central Bank for three months. So the fraudsters forced her to give up all her savings and take a secured loan on the apartment. In August, a Krasnoyarsk woman was contacted by a "former manager" who said that an audit was being conducted at the organization where she once worked. Soon an "FSB officer" called her and told her about the leak of her personal data. After that, the "central bank representative" joined the program. The woman was convinced that she had been issued a loan in the amount of 23 million rubles, and that the money in her accounts was "tagged" and had to undergo an inspection. For this, it was necessary to close the deposits and transfer the cash to a special employee. In addition, the victim was also convinced to take a secured loan on the apartment, saying that the money transferred was related to a case of human trafficking. She met with couriers twice and gave them a total of 17.6 million rubles of personal savings and loan money. The Krasnoyarsk woman managed to understand that all this time she was communicating with fraudsters only when she personally came to the bank and found out that they did not conduct such checks there. She turned to the police, where she opened a criminal case under the fraud section on an especially large scale. In total, since the beginning of the year, residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have already transferred 2.194 billion rubles to fraudsters, and 4,748 people have become victims of fraudsters, the prosecutor's office said.
