Address signs on houses in Krasnoyarsk will lead to one standard Mayor Sergey Vershchagin promised to gradually install clear signs on houses with the name of the street, its number and an indication of which direction the numbering goes. At a meeting with residents of Zheleznodorozhny district, a resident of Krasnoyarsk complained that in many streets it is difficult to find the correct address, especially if there is no Internet. The signs will appear faster in the center: there, on the occasion of the city's 400th anniversary, the facades are being repaired, and after the repairs, the street name and number will be posted immediately. In other areas the process will take longer. According to the mayor, one standard will be introduced gradually. At the same time, the rules for placing address signs already exist: they should be hung at a height of about 2.5 meters, for even numbers on the left side of the facade, for odd numbers on the right side. The rules say nothing about arrows showing the direction of the numbering.
