The "Altman RAM" project appeared on the net: a script checks every five minutes how much RAM memory is left unused on the computer, and sends a report to Sam Altman by email.
The joke emerged following Altman's comments about the inefficient use of RAM by ordinary users.
Due to the artificial intelligence bubble, demand for DRAM has soared, and component prices have risen.
Altman responded that his words were taken out of context.
He said he has long been a supporter of increasing memory production and wants people to be able to install as much RAM as they need in their computers.
