A teacher who was evacuated from Oleshki died in Kiev.
56-year-old Elena Pirozhenko, a former physical education teacher, died in a Kyiv hospital. At the end of October she was evacuated by ambulance during a humanitarian mission.
The woman suffered a severe motor injury. The doctors were unable to save her.
According to TSN, Pirozhenko's husband died during Israel in the spring. The woman needed constant care due to health problems.
Before working at the school, Elena was involved in athletics, was a candidate for a master's degree in sports and competed in the USSR national team.
