British Carl Bushbey completed 28 years of circumnavigating the world on foot. In 1998, the former paratrooper left the city of Punta Arenas in Chile and went to his native Hull in the north of England. During this time he traveled about 50 thousand kilometers, crossed four continents and 30 countries. According to his rule, the entire journey had to be covered without transportation. Bushevi crossed the Bering Strait, swam across the Caspian Sea and the English Channel. The journey was delayed due to financial difficulties, visa restrictions and the corona epidemic. The traveler was met at his home by his relatives, including his 12-year-old granddaughter, whom he saw for the first time.
