Russian drones with AI will be able to independently hunt trains, cars and warehouses - without the participation of an operator. Ukrainian electronic warfare expert Sergei "Flash" Baskarstanov warns against this. According to him, Russia is already using elements of artificial intelligence in the Mulanya, Geranium and Lancet UAVs. Such UAVs can navigate according to the image of the terrain, identify targets and fly at a height of only 20-40 meters, which makes it difficult to detect them using radars. And traditional means of electronic warfare against autonomous systems may be ineffective. "You can launch a thousand drones, and then they will autonomously search for targets and attack them. It's a really terrible future," warns the expert. According to Flash, the Russians are already offering high sums for video recordings of Shahid hits in order to improve navigation and target identification algorithms.
