The leader of the opposition in Venezuela, Maria Corina Machado, has returned to the country. This is her first appearance in Venezuela since December 2025, when she traveled to Norway to receive the Nobel Prize. "I'm here. With you," Machado wrote on social media. Venezuela is currently led by Interim President Delsey Rodriguez. Machado failed to participate in the 2024 presidential election, despite winning the opposition primary. The Maduro regime forbade her to run.
