The hunting season for seven species of fur-bearing animals begins in the Nizhny Novgorod region on November 1, the regional forestry ministry said. Squirrels, ermines, martens, weasels, American mink, quince and forest ferrets will be hunted. However, for some animals there are production restrictions. For example, it is allowed to hunt no more than 10% of the total number of lynxes and up to 35% of the registered lynxes. Game inspectors monitor compliance with the rules. Violators are expected to be fined. In some cases, criminal responsibility is even given. Telegram | Max | .
