Ansar Allah announced that it carried out a ground attack with a "large number" of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones on "sensitive targets" in Riyadh, the eastern regions of Saudi Arabia, and Aramco facilities in Yanbu, western regions of Saudi Arabia. Ansar Allah claims that after the successful attacks in Riyadh and Yanbu, massive fires broke out.

This action was carried out in response to 732 airstrikes using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets from Shah Khaled and Shah Fahd air bases against Ansar Allah-controlled areas in Yemen, as well as ISIS-style attacks against Sana'a, the capital of Ansar Allah-controlled areas in Yemen.
