In recent months, CENTCOM forces have supported the transfer of more than a billion barrels of crude oil from the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz.

We achieved this important achievement while helping more than 2,000 commercial vessels pass through the Strait by providing coordinated protection.

The main transit routes in this strait have been cleared of mines. Thousands of ships have passed through this strait.

More than a billion barrels of crude oil have been exported through the Strait of Hormuz by our Persian Gulf allies, and Iran has not exported any barrels due to our overwhelming blockade.
