The dog did not allow the police to approach the vehicle, and animal control experts had to be called. The dog was taken to the AminožFotohan shelter, where she was given the name Lipa. She turned out to be very affectionate and well behaved. She didn't have a chip, so her owners have yet to be found. There was a bowl of water inside the car, and the doors weren't locked, so maybe they didn't want to hurt the dog. Finding out who owns the vehicle also turned out to be difficult: the Citroen was sold, but the new user did not re-register the vehicle in his name. It is still unknown where he disappeared, why he left the car in the forest and under what circumstances the dog found himself alone. It turned out that the car is quite far from normal roads. To get to the place the driver had to drive the only forest road with deep holes. While inspecting the car, journalists noticed a smoking pipe inside, and scattered things near the car, including a syringe. There was also a tow rope on one of the seats.
