Latvia entered into an agreement with the Canadian defense equipment manufacturer Galvion to supply tactical armored helmet systems for the needs of the national armed forces. The unique feature of the agreement is that it covers the entire cycle of use of the equipment. In addition to the purchase of armored helmets, maintenance, repair and subsequent disposal are provided. The document also provides for the possibility of other countries joining the created procurement system. This will make it possible to organize a joint purchase of equipment and expand international cooperation in the defense sector.
